Job Title: Technical Specialist Company: HCLTech Job Category: SAP ABAP Roles & Responsibilities: Job Description: SAP ABAP Consultant (Interfaces) \| 8\-2 years of experience We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 8\-10 years of hands\-on experience in SAP ABAP development and integration technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting SAP interfaces across SAP and non\-SAP systems, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments and integration technologies. Key Responsibilities ------------------------ Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP developments across various SAP modules. * Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces using SAP integration technologies. * Work on interface development using: * + IDOCs + ALE + RFC/BAPI + Proxy Interfaces + Web Services (SOAP/REST) + File\-based Interfaces + OData Services * Create and enhance ABAP Objects, Reports, Dialog Programs, Module Pool Programs, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, and Enhancements. * Develop and support: * + User Exits + Customer Exits + BAdIs + Enhancement Framework * Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions. * Troubleshoot and resolve interface\-related production issues. * Perform performance tuning and code optimization. * Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects. * 8\-10 years of SAP ABAP development experience. * Strong experience in: * + Reports (Classical/ALV) + Dialog Programming + ABAP Objects + Enhancements and Forms * Extensive experience with: * + IDOCs + ALE + RFCs + BAPIs + SAP PI/PO integrations + SAP CPI Integration Suite * Hands\-on experience in: * + OData Services + CDS Views + AMDP + SAP Gateway * Working knowledge of S/4HANA development concepts. * Experience with REST APIs and Web Services integrations. * Strong understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and transport management. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management. * Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions. * Experience mentoring junior ABAP developers. * Ability to work in global delivery environments.
