Job Title: Technical Curriculum Developer, Dedicated Cloud Training Company: Amazon Web Services Job Category: Machine Learning Roles & Responsibilities: The Dedicated Cloud Training team is looking for a motivated Technical Curriculum Developer/trainer who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills. Along with delivering training, you will partner with several AWS teams to develop instructor\-led and digital training content around AWS services and features. Key job responsibilities * Dive deep into AWS technologies, such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Web Applications, Security, Networking, High Performance Computing, Storage, Databases, Enterprise Applications, Migration Strategies or other solutions areas to understand the services and develop effective training for our customers. * Deliver classroom and on\-line training to customers and partners. * Assist in developing and maintaining training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials. * Collaborate with multiple functional groups to develop training content that educates customers on the full portfolio of AWS services and features. * Work with subject matter experts to understand training needs and collaborate with technical teams across AWS (including Developers, Support Engineers, Professional Services, and Solutions Architects) to build technically accurate training that meets the learning objectives. * Utilize automated lab and courseware publishing processes built on AWS. * Build relationships with AWS service teams to understand roadmaps and plan for content updates or new training offerings. Respond to changes in products/features by revising content at a rapid pace using agile methodologies. * Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with curriculum stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives, modalities and expectations. * Have very high standards for quality of work and strong attention to detail, following various required guidelines and holding peer reviews for all content developed. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge\-sharing, mentorship and other career\-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better\-rounded professional. * 1\+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience * Experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials and content * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2\+ years of Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) BB/3P Full Time Exempt experience * Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Experience with Learning \& Development and course facilitation * Experience in a training role, including technical training * Experience in training, performance management and coaching/mentoring * Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures on material handling equipment and automated systems * Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time * Experience using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Vyond, and Captivate and other video editing and graphic design software * Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and reporting * Experience with technical writing and instructional design * Experience with project management * Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions * Experience working cross\-functionally across several teams both technical and non\-technical Work Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Availability: Full time
