Supply Chain Specialist

Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Company: Adamson Systems Engineering Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: We are hiring an experienced, self\-motivated Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing, inventory planning, and supplier coordination in a lean manufacturing environment. This role will use ERP/MRP systems to maintain material availability, improve lead times, and support production schedules. Key Responsibilities: * Manage purchase orders and the procurement cycle in the ERP system. * Plan material purchases based on production schedules and inventory needs. * Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and reliability. * Follow up on deliveries and resolve supplier or logistics issues. 2\. ERP \& Data Management * Maintain accurate item, vendor, and purchasing data in the ERP system. * Review purchasing data and KPIs to reduce costs and improve supply chain performance. * Support invoice matching, PO reconciliation, and cost tracking with Finance. * Prepare and provide weekly reports. * Coordinate with production, engineering, and inventory teams to ensure material availability. * Identify and help resolve supply risks, shortages, and overstock concerns. * Perform hands\-on cycle counts and physical inventory checks as needed. Skills \& Qualifications: * College or university degree/diploma in a related field. * 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing ERP environment. * Experience with MRP, production scheduling, and supplier negotiations. * Working knowledge of ERP systems such as ECI M1, SAP, MS Dynamics GP, NetSuite, Epicor, Sage, or similar. * Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills. * Experience with supply chain analytics is an asset.
