Store Manager

Ltd SAP Module: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: Job Title: Store Manager (Manufacturing) Department: Supply Chain / Materials Management star rising energy is seeking an experienced and organized Store Manager to oversee our manufacturing plant's inventory and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will ensure that the production floor has a seamless supply of materials while maintaining 100% inventory accuracy, optimizing storage space, and upholding strict safety and 5S standards. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Stock Management * Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing stores, including inward (receiving) and outward (dispatch) of materials. * Ensure accurate physical and system inventory levels using [e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specific ERP/WMS software]. * Plan and execute regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to prevent stock discrepancies. * Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and reorder points to prevent material shortages or overstocking. * Manage the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) material rotation as required by quality standards. Operations & Production Support * Coordinate closely with the Production, Procurement, and Quality Control departments to ensure timely material staging and issuance. * Oversee the quarantine and return process for defective or rejected raw materials. * Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure easy retrieval and safe handling of materials. * Track and minimize material wastage, obsolescence, and shrinkage. Team Leadership & Safety * Supervise, train, and schedule store personnel, including storekeepers, material handlers, and forklift operators. * Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization and lean warehousing practices. * Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring all material handling equipment (MHE) is operated safely and maintained regularly. * Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations regarding the storage of hazardous or flammable manufacturing materials. * Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory valuation, stock movement, and warehouse KPIs. * Ensure all Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and dispatch documents are accurately processed and filed. Qualifications and Requirements * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (A diploma/degree in Engineering is a plus). * Experience: [e.g., 5-7] years of proven experience in store, warehouse, or inventory management, specifically within a manufacturing environment. * Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP MM module, Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). * Solid understanding of inventory control principles, material handling, and supply chain logistics. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis). * Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
