Stock Controller

Job Title: Stock Controller Company: Golden Link Talent Solutions Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: 🔹 Key Responsibilities * Receive, check and record incoming stock against delivery documentation and purchase orders * Identify and record damages, shortages, returns and discrepancies * Process returns to suppliers and requests for credit notes * Allocate and monitor pick notes and stock movements * Generate invoices and ensure accurate dispatch of stock * Perform daily perpetual stock counts and assist with scheduled stock takes * Maintain accurate records of stock, assets and inventory movements * Monitor and maintain overall stock control procedures * Assist with procurement and purchasing activities * Ensure assets and stock are correctly recorded, allocated and controlled * Reconcile physical stock and assets with system records * Identify variances and investigate discrepancies * Maintain accurate filing and general administration * Ensure all stock and asset documentation is kept up to date * Take ownership of stock and asset control processes from receiving through to dispatch * Assist with merchandise and inventory management * Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure efficient stock and asset management * 1\-2-3 years of experience in stock control, asset control, purchasing, procurement or a similar role * Experience managing stock/inventory processes from receiving through to dispatch * Strong administrative and organisational skills * Good planning and problem\-solving abilities * Sound arithmetic skills * Intermediate MS Excel knowledge * Experience with SYSPRO or a similar ERP system would be advantageous * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities * Good communication skills Work Location: City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Availability: Full time
