The SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant is responsible for planning, executing, and validating financial data migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities. Lead end-to-end data migration activities for SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO). Analyze legacy financial data and define migration scope, rules, and strategies. Design and execute data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes. Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data integrity. Coordinate mock runs, cutover activities, and final production migration. Collaborate with functional, technical, and business stakeholders. Prepare migration documentation, mapping sheets, and reconciliation reports. Support audits, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and post-go-live stabilization. Required Skills & Experience. Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules. Solid expertise in SAP data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, or similar). Understanding of financial master and transactional data structures. Experience in SAP S/4HANA finance data migration. Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in complex, multi-system environments. Qualifications. Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, IT, or related field. Relevant SAP FICO certification(s) preferred. Experience with large-scale SAP implementations or transformation projects is a plus.Role & responsibilities.
