SAP ABAP role requires a seasoned consultant with 4 to 6 years of experience specializing in S/4 HANA ABAP development and integration. The candidate will primarily focus on ABAP programming within the S/4 HANA environment, leveraging expertise in workflows, object-oriented programming, and data dictionary management. Strong knowledge of BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE/EDI, IDOC, and ALV programming is essential to support and enhance SAP applications. Experience with classical and interactive reporting, BDC, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and dialog programming is expected. The role demands proficiency in interface and proxy programming, LSMW, BSP, ABAP Web Dynpro, and performance tuning to optimize system operations. Candidates should be skilled in Core Data Services (CDS) views for data modeling and custom analytics, as well as OData services development for API creation. Expertise in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) is necessary for efficient database operations. Experience with S/4 HANA migration, data migration, and system conversion is advantageous. A strong understanding of SAP functional modules, particularly Finance (FI/CO) and Materials Management (MM), is mandatory, with additional knowledge of Netweaver Portal considered beneficial. The role involves designing and implementing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using technologies such as IDocs, RFC, SOAP, REST, and others. Familiarity with SAP PI/PO and CPI for interface development and integration is also required. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead teams, manage complex technical issues independently, and maintain client-facing communication effectively. Experience in creating and configuring web services, performing functional testing on SOAP, and real-time monitoring of SAP ECC applications is important. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes such as incident, problem, and change management is beneficial. Develop and implement enhancements using USER-EXIT, BADI, and other enhancement techniques to meet business requirements. Lead technical design specification creation, ensuring alignment with functional teams and IT management for smooth project execution. Perform performance tuning, function module development, and real-time monitoring of SAP ECC applications to optimize system efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support S/4 HANA migration, data migration, and system conversion activities. Manage client interactions effectively, lead teams independently, and provide solutions for complex technical issues while adapting to changing environments.
