Staff Engineer - Python

• Work on Seagate Cloud storage software to optimize the architecture, algorithms and the deployment of the software
• You will work with the internal Seagate team, its customers, and the object store industry to develop a resilient, high performing storage platform.
• The position requires system development experience
• The position requires Python, Bash Scripting and C development experience and ideally experience with Storage software development.
• Implements feature addition/enhancements to the source code
• Identify, debug reliability issues of the storage system
• Communicate with team and managers to develop optimal solutions and report progresss
• Collaborate with other development teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the system
• Research and evaluate alternative approaches to assist in developing solutions
• Share best practices with partners and peer groups
