Sr. Workday Analyst

Troubleshoot issues across multiple functional areas within Workday. Evaluate downstream impacts of changes and ensure consistent configuration standards. Support cross functional partners by translating user requirements into system specifications. Monitor Workday roadmap developments and advise stakeholders on upcoming feature releases. Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and application of key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques through classes, reading, or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences with HRIS community resources. Provide system configuration options based on business requirements. Manage workflow with an agile approach through backlog maintenance and project management skills. Configure core Workday components including business processes, tenant setup, condition rules, validations, notifications, and alerts. Manage domain and business process level security and perform security assessments. Build advanced reports and develop basic calculated fields to support business needs. Use vendor documentation and internal standards to guide configuration updates and documentation. Manage system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades for workday modules such as HCM, Time & Absences, Leave of Absence, and Core Compensation. Lead complex cross functional projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource needs. Apply strong change management practices to ensure adoption and value realization. Support requirement gathering sessions and help design complete solutions including configuration, reporting, and notifications. Conduct structured testing, validation, and documentation of changes prior to deployment. Perform actions in alignment with required controls and maintain proper documentation. Build custom workforce reports and use data pulls across sources to answer business questions. Ensure reports are accurate, appropriately scoped, and suitable for the intended audience.

Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of experience with workday or other HRIS systems. Knowledge of workday business processes, security, integrations, and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of technical aptitude. Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to analyze and problem-solving. Intense desire for constant learning and process improvement. Passion for customer service and satisfaction. Great communicator, both verbally and in writing. Strong business acumen with a basic understanding of HR and Payroll business processes and operations.
