Sr SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP S4HANA Technical Consultant with a strong focus on Clean Core principles. The consultant will work as part of an Agile Scrum team, responsible for technical design, de-velopment, and ensuring that all custom developments are upgrade-safe, compliant, and performance-optimized, including resolution of SAP TPO ATC findings. Key Responsibilities. Technical Design Development Analyze business requirements. Develop technical objects in S4HANA: Reports ALV, CDS-based o Enhancements BAdIs, Enhancement Framework Interfaces OData, APIs, IDocs, Web Services o Forms Adobe Forms Ensure all developments follow Clean Core standards and SAP best practices. Clean Core Extensibility Implement SAP extensibility approaches: In-App Extensibility Key User o Side-by-Side Extensibility BTP Avoid core modifications and design upgrade-stable solutions. Leverage Modern Paradigms: CDS Views , AMDP, RAP Model. SAP TPO ATC Compliance: Analyze and resolve SAP TPO Technical Performance Optimization ATC findings Remediate issues related to: Performance optimization HANA readiness. Simplification item compliance Optimize custom code for: HANA database performance o Efficient SQL queries and data access patterns Ensure all developments pass ATC checks before transport . Agile Scrum Participation Actively participate in Scrum meetings: Sprint Planning o Daily Stand-ups,Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives Collaborate with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, and Architects Provide effort estimation and ensure on-time sprint deliveries. Integration APIs Develop and consume: OData services SAP Gateway o REST SOAP APIs. Quality Governance Perform unit testing and support SITUAT. Ensure compliance with: Coding standards, Naming conventions. Documentation practices Use tools such as: ATC ABAP Test Cockpit, Code Inspector, Performance analysis tools SQL Monitor, SAT. Required Skills. Core Technical Strong expertise in: ABAP on S4HANA, CDS Views, RAP, AMDP, OData SAP Gateway. Hands-on experience in: Enhancements, Interfaces. Performance tuning. Clean Core Expertise Solid understanding of: SAP Clean Core strategy, Extensibility frameworks. Experience in minimizing custom code footprint using standard APIs and extensions . Tools Technologies: Eclipse, ADT, SAP Gateway, Fiori SAP BTP. Preferred DevOps Git-enabled CTS nice to have. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science IT SAP Certification in ABAP S4HANA preferred. Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication Ability to work independently in Agile teams Stakeholder collaboration. Nice to Have RAP model Fiori Elements. SAP Integration Suite Event Mesh.
