Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer Company: UST Job Category: MERN Roles & Responsibilities: Role description UST Tittle: Lead II \- Software Engineering UST is looking for Sr. Full stack Developer (Mern Stack) * We are seeking an experienced Senior Full\-Stack Developer with deep expertise in React, Node.js, and RESTful/GraphQL API development. * This role offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, architect scalable solutions, and mentor junior developers. * The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building high\-performance applications and demonstrating architectural excellence. * Experience with Backstage (Internal Developer Platform) is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: * Frontend Development Design and develop scalable, high\-performance React applications with modern UI/UX principles Implement responsive design patterns and optimize component architecture for maintainability and performance Manage application state effectively using Redux, Context API, or similar state management solutions * Backend Development Build robust and scalable APIs using Node.js and modern frameworks (Express, Nest.js, etc.) * Design RESTful or GraphQL APIs with proper error handling, validation, and security practices Implement database optimization, caching strategies, and performance tuning Technical Leadership Lead architectural discussions and design reviews for complex technical solutions Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications DevOps \& Quality Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment strategies * Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues We honour our commitments and act with responsibility in all our relationships.
