Scope * As a Data Science Consultant, you will be a key player in onboarding clients onto Blue Yonder’s Luminate Planning suite of solutions and providing ongoing support through our Data Science as a Service (DSaaS) offering. * Our team currently consists of approximately 50 associates in India, part of a larger global team spanning the US and Germany, and is poised for rapid growth. * Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will mentor junior team members. What We Are Looking For * Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K\-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes). * Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required). * Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis. * Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming. * Strong critical and operational thinking skills. * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI. * Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python\-based SQL wrappers. * Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. * Bonus skills: familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow orchestration tools, Postman/API integration. * Strong scripting and programming capabilities. * Data\-driven mindset with an eye for detail. Educational Background * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science with a focus on Data Science. Experience * 0-1 years of experience.
