Sr. Analyst (SAP ABAP)

This Sr. Analyst SAP ABAP role at Beckman Coulter involves designing, developing, modernizing, and delivering complex SAP technical solutions aligned with business needs, SAP Clean Core principles, and S/4HANA best practices. You will design and deliver complex ABAP solutions on SAP S/4HANA ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles. The role involves leading ABAP development activities including ABAP Objects, OO design patterns, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, RAP, and OData Services. You will design and implement side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using ABAP Environment, RAP, CDS Views, OData, Events, and released APIs. Building scalable integrations with S/4HANA using APIs, Events, and extensibility options while minimizing core modifications is essential.

The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP ABAP Environment, side-by-side extensibility, released APIs, Events, and cloud-ready development practices is essential. Experience with SAP Clean Core strategy, custom code remediation, ATC, CVA, SPAU/SPDD awareness, and S/4HANA technical migration is required. Strong experience in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, RAP, OData Services, BAdIs, and enhancement frameworks is necessary.
