Responsibilities -------------------- Reporting to the Procurement Manager the Sourcing Specialist will: * Reviews spending patterns, identifies procurement opportunities from a wide variety of information sources * Manages expiration of agreements, ensure continuous source of supplies and services * Prepares and issues RFx’s to potential suppliers * Works with internal clients to develop accurate statements of requirements. * Responsible for analysis of proposals, vendor negotiations * Develops long form agreements where required * Manage relationships with suppliers * Responsible for all P.O.’s, requisitions, maintenance of contracts database and generating statistical information * Works with suppliers to develop content for Purolator’s electronic catalogue * Responsible for the creation and maintenance of purchasing files * Works with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies * Other responsibilities as required. * University or College level education in Commerce or Administration, preferably specializing in Procurement, or equivalent work experience ### Experience Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders.
