Job Title: Software Engineer (IV) - Premium Senior Engineer Company: TekWissen India Job Category: SAP SD Roles & Responsibilities: Job Title: Software Engineer (IV) \- Premium Senior Engineer Location: Chennai Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office) Position Description * Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. * They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements. * Full\-stack software engineering roles, who can develop all components of software including user interface and server side also fall within this job function. Key Responsibilities * Engage with customers to deeply understand their use\-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user\-centric software solutions * Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies * Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc. * Create high\-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application * Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc. * Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices. * Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency * Familiar with programming practices, such as test\-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery * Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization. * Create user\-friendly and interactive interfaces * Develop and maintain back\-end applications like APIs and microservices using server\-side languages * Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver their solutions, and are monitoring and participating in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration Experience Preferred * Key Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis: Analyze and understand business requirements related to sales, distribution, and customer service. * Facilitate workshops to collect and document business requirements. Identify gaps and propose solutions to optimize processes. * SAP SD Configuration: Design and configure SAP SD modules to meet business needs. Develop functional specifications. * Map business processes to SAP SD functionalities. Test and validate SAP SD configurations. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD. * Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team. * Document functional designs, test cases, and results. * Participate in the delivery of small to medium\-sized projects. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other SAP module consultants. * Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members. * Strong understanding of SAP SD modules and functionalities. * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with SAP SD processes such as sales order management, pricing, billing, and customer service. * Knowledge of SAP ERP modules and their integration with SAP SD. * Experience with testing methodologies and tools. * Understanding of Agile project methodologies. Prac. in 1 lang.; guides. 10\+ years in IT; 8\+ years in development Education Required * Bachelor's Degree Education Preferred * Master's Degree Additional Information * A minimum of more than 10\+ years of SAP consulting experience in SAP SD in SAP S4 HANA, Strong functional hands\-on experience in designing, building and integrating SAP SD processes. * Formal SAP training and certification or knowledge is an advantage.
