Software Engineer II - SAP ABAP FIORI

This Software Engineer II role involves designing and developing SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5 solutions for a remote IT services company. You will create CDS Views, OData services, and RAP applications, and configure the SAP Fiori Launchpad. Your daily tasks include supporting application enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution, while working with functional teams to deliver SAP solutions. You will evaluate new SAP technologies and automation opportunities to improve development processes. The role requires strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills, and familiarity with SAP BTP, REST APIs, and cloud integration. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate must have experience in SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP S/4HANA. Strong knowledge of CDS, OData, RAP, and SAP Gateway is required. Familiarity with SAP BTP, REST APIs, cloud integration, BAS, Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies is preferred. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected.
