Job Title: Social Media Content Creator / Influencer & Reels Specialist Company: Maclee Job Category: Digital Marketing Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities * Conceptualize, create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form videos. * Create content designed to maximize reach, views, shares, saves, engagement, and follower growth. * Regularly research trending reels, sounds, memes, formats, challenges, hooks, and social media conversations. * Quickly turn relevant trends into original content aligned with Macle and its clients. * Be comfortable appearing and speaking confidently in front of the camera. * Develop attention-grabbing hooks and scripts that capture viewers within the first few seconds. * Create entertaining, educational, promotional, and trend-based content depending on campaign objectives. * Shoot high-quality content using smartphones, cameras, lighting, microphones, and other basic content-production equipment. * Edit short-form videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar applications. * Experiment with different hooks, captions, formats, thumbnails, posting times, and content styles to improve performance. * Collaborate with the marketing, design, performance marketing, and creative teams on campaigns. * Participate in influencer collaborations, brand campaigns, interviews, events, and behind-the-scenes content. * Monitor content performance and identify why particular reels or formats perform better than others. * Build and maintain a consistent social media presence and content calendar. * Stay continuously updated on Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social media trends and algorithm changes. * Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content. * Comfortable and confident in front of the camera. * Ability to independently conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit reels. * Strong sense of storytelling, humor, trends, and audience psychology. * Good understanding of hooks, retention, watch time, shares, saves, comments, and other social media engagement metrics. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Ability to produce content quickly while maintaining quality. * Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas consistently.
