Skills Press Shop Production Production Planning 5S / Kaizen

Independently manage day-to-day Press Shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shop-floor activities. Handle and manage manpower of up to 100 personnel, including workforce allocation, productivity and performance monitoring. Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality requirements and delivery schedules. Drive productivity improvement initiatives and optimize manpower, machines and resources for efficient production. Monitor shop-floor quality and ensure adherence to defined quality standards and production processes. Ensure effective implementation of 5S, Kaizen, safety practices and production systems across the Press Shop. Maintain strong focus on workplace safety and ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures. Independently handle and support IATF and VSA audits, including preparation of required documentation and implementation of corrective actions. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and other cross-functional teams to resolve shop-floor issues. Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure customer-specific requirements are understood and consistently maintained on the shop floor. Maintain production-related records and utilize Google Drive and Google Sheets for reporting, tracking and documentation. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills in managing day-to-day production challenges.
