Shift Executive

Job Summary. The Shift Executive will manage end-to-end Distribution Center operations during the assigned night shift, ensuring smooth execution of inbound, inventory, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch activities. The role will be responsible for operational SLAs, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, hygiene, and safety while resolving real-time operational challenges. Requirement. Manage shift operations across inbound, storage, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch. Plan manpower and monitor productivity, order volumes, and operational SLAs. Ensure quality checks, proper handling, storage, and cold-chain compliance for fresh produce. Monitor picking accuracy, packing quality, dispatch readiness, and timely order handover. Monitor inventory, shrinkage, wastage, damages, and stock discrepancies. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, hygiene, safety, 5S, and internal SOPs. Prepare shift reports covering OTD%, productivity, wastage, QC rejections, and manpower utilisation. Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements. Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Quality, and last-mile teams. Qualification. Graduate in any discipline; Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations preferred. 3 to 6 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or DC operations. 1 to 2 years of experience in shift/supervisory or floor management preferred. Experience in quick commerce, e-commerce, grocery, D2C, food delivery, or fresh produce preferred. Hands-on experience with WMS/OMS and MS Excel/Google Sheets. Knowledge of perishable inventory, cold-chain, FSSAI, and warehouse SOPs. Strong manpower management, SLA tracking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
