IT needs to provide and support infrastructure for effective information and communication systems. This position is required to support ever changing Information Technology and user expectations. Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) 1. Planning and Operation Management - To implement Preventive maintenance schedules. - Maintaining Information Asset Register. - Assist Accounts department in Physical verification of IT assets. - Assist plant IT head in capacity management. - To support implementation of cost control measures. - To support implementation of WCM initiatives. - Daily monitoring of SCCM and AV status - Versa calls monitoring and follow-up. - Network monitoring. - Adityadisha and E-Learning support. - IT related support to School, CSR, Ladies club, Recreation and Officers Club. - SAP basis support. - Ensure effective implementation of Information security controls. 4. Location: India Gujarat Gujarat Cement Works Organization: Cement #### Job Purpose #### Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context: Major Challenges * Managing high uptime of WAN link thru service provider for which dependency is with third party * Providing quick resolution & guiding engineer with minimum inputs from user w.r.t problem * Controlling unauthorised software installations * Induce user to adopt best IT practices & work in secured mannerpid technological challenges due to fast absolution & remote location of the unit. #### Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 - Close the calls as per agreed SLAs - Co-ordinate with various agencies to ensure IT systems availability. - Assist plant IT head to generate MIS reports. - Assist plant IT head to make budget proposals. KRA2 2. Operations (Hardware, Software and Network). - Database administration. - System administration. - In-house software maintenance. - Ensure 100% backup and retrieval of critical data. - Regular updation and maintenance of local Intranet web portal. - Assist in educating end users. - Co-ordinating with AMC vendor to ensure uptime of Hardware. - To ensure legal compliance of licenses. - Checking the health condition of equipments - Adherence to backup & disaster recovery plan. - Regular review of various server event logs. - Vulnerability test for servers. Compliance to various Standards & Policies - To assist in achieving Green level in Group Information Security Survey. - To assist in ISO-27001 Audits. - Ensure recording of all IT Incidents. - Assist users in understanding Information security KRA4 - Make users feel comfortable in using IT systems by conducting training programmes. - Provide IT infrastructure for conducting training programmes. - Assist users in posting articles on WSS/Intranet/ Onstream /Adityadisha / Ulink - Identifying training needs for self Key Skills: SAP Basis, System Administration, Monitoring Salary: Not disclosed
