The Senior Manager – Sourcing will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, vendor management, and procurement operations. The role focuses on optimizing cost, ensuring quality, and building a strong supplier network for plush fabrics and trims, both domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities. A. Sourcing Strategy & Vendor Management. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for plush fabrics and trims. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (domestic & international). Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. B. Procurement & Cost Optimization. Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms. Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards. Drive cost reduction initiatives. C. Fabric & Accessories Sourcing. Handle sourcing and development of fabrics and trims. Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements. D. Sample Development & Coordination. Coordinate with internal teams for sample development. Ensure timely execution and approvals. E. Quality & Compliance. Ensure supplier quality standards and compliance. Work closely with QA teams for quality assurance. F. Supply Planning & Inventory Control. Manage supply planning and inventory levels. Avoid stock shortages or excess inventory. G. Sustainable & Ethical Sourcing. Promote ethical sourcing practices. Ensure sustainability standards in procurement processes. Key Deliverables (KRAs). Sourcing strategy implementation. Vendor onboarding and performance management. Cost optimization and negotiation outcomes. Timely material availability. Supplier quality and compliance adherence. Functional Competencies.
