Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Company: Svitla Systems Job Category: Salesforce Roles & Responsibilities: Role overview ----------------- In this role, you’ll develop features end to end, from data models and business logic to user interfaces and integrations. AI is at the core of this position: you’ll build AI features into applications, use AI coding tools in your daily work, and share practical AI engineering experience with the wider team. US citizenship required. Active US security/secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one * Significant professional development experience in one or more of C\#/.NET, Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript. * Hands\-on experience building and shipping features that use LLM APIs, such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock. * Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector search. * Experience with agents, tool calling, and multi\-step AI workflows. * Strong prompt engineering skills, including structured outputs and context management. * Experience testing and evaluating AI outputs and handling failures safely. * Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. * Web application development, including front\-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a framework such as React). * REST APIs, JSON, and system integration. * SQL and relational data modeling. * Git, CI/CD, and automated testing. * Experience debugging and resolving production issues. * Fluent professional English, written and spoken. Will be a plus ------------------ Application development AI feature development * Build AI features, including LLM API integration, RAG, agents, tool calling, and structured outputs. * Write and refine prompts and manage context. * Build evaluation tests, guardrails, and monitoring for AI features. * Use OutSystems AI capabilities, such as Mentor and AI Agent Workbench, and integrate external AI services where they fit better. * Take part in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback constructively. * Write automated tests and support QA and user acceptance testing. * Troubleshoot performance and production issues. * Document code, components, and decisions. AI\-assisted development and knowledge sharing * Use AI coding tools productively and responsibly, with human review of generated code. * Share effective AI\-assisted development practices with the joint team. * Mentor other developers and contribute to shared component libraries. * Demonstrate AI techniques and lessons learned in team sessions. Prior OutSystems experience is not required. You’ll receive structured training and certification on OutSystems 11 (O11\) and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) at the start of the engagement, followed by hands\-on learning on live projects. You’ll work as one team with OutSystems Professional Services developers and consultants, learning their delivery practices and sharing your AI expertise with them in return. Requirements ---------------- * Development experience on enterprise low\-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, Appian, ServiceNow App Engine, Salesforce Platform, or Pega. * Understanding of how low\-code changes delivery: faster prototyping, model\-driven development, and the trade\-offs between platform features and custom code. * Any exposure to OutSystems 11 (O11\) or OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC). * Mobile application development. * Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or comparable orchestration frameworks. * Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tool integration. * Cloud development on AWS or Microsoft Azure, and cloud or AI engineering certifications. * Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or government. * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
