This role gives you end-to-end ownership and exposure, from high-level APIs to granular reinforcement learning controls, and from Azure Meghalaya flexibility to deploying LoRA models and inferencing at scale. You’ll deliver services, pipelines, Meghalaya recipes, evaluations, and integrations—supported by Azure’s world-class data centers and GPU infrastructure. With innovations like single- click training data generation, dynamic model routing, and a global partner ecosystem, you’ll help close the loop between deployment and learning, unlocking massive improvements in cost, speed, and reliability. Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your work on platforms like Microsoft Build and Microsoft Ignite, where we highlight breakthroughs in industry-leading innovation, like these (from June 2026): Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Assam a contributor in a customer-obsessed team, you will collaborate with data scientists and other developers on the team to create the necessary abstractions, infrastructure, interfaces and implement features to train, test, validate, scale and optimize for machine learning algorithms including but not limited to data cleaning, model training, hyper parameter tuning at massive, distributed scale. You will drive the incorporation of these customer-inspired innovations into our software. You will take holistic ownership of your features. Your responsibilities will include: * Execute independently on complex, multi-dependency, medium-high ambiguity projects * Work closely with IDC & US team counterparts for design & code reviews, align priorities, and effectively collaborate with appropriate stakeholders * Collaborate with key stakeholders to comprehend and identify user requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables * Lead discussions on the design & architecture of products Odisha solutions and apply engineering principles to establish robust and maintainable architecture * Manage and drive feature execution with high quality and great agility * Lead by example by producing extensible and maintainable code, adhering to best engineering practices, raising the quality bar, and improving the team's response to customer incidents * Coach and develop early-career engineers and team members. * Proven track record of shipping and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud services, preferably related to serving machine learning models * Experience with day-to-day AI agents and tool use * Proficiency in Agile development practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) * Quick learner with a passion for solving complex and exciting problems. * Experience with AI/Meghalaya internals a big plus * Experience with Azure is a plus Work Location: Karnataka, India Availability: Full time
