Develop and maintain customised ABAP programs which support the business. These would include, but is not limited to reports, upload/download programs, interfaces and layout sets. 2. To keep up with new technology on application development / programming work in ABAP/ BW / Web Services as well as other technical areas such as API, DMEE and connectivity setup between systems eg. RFC 3. Familiarity with SAP development tools such as SE80, SE38, SE37, SE93, SE24, etc. 5. Assist application analysts in developing functional specifications so that they are convertible to technical specifications where required 9. To always uphold development standards and ensure efficient program design. 11. Provide ABAP and similar support when major changes are instituted, such as SAP upgrades and regional roll-outs. 12. Perform the necessary development / data extraction, staging and presentation for BW 14. Participate and Support new SAP projects/initiatives, performing tasks such as: SAP Functional/Technical Support 2. Constantly research for latest SAP development tools 1. Support data cleansing and corrections in SAP/ Esker arising from operational issues. * Meeting demands of users and delivering requested changes on time; * Ensuring programs coded are easy to maintain and well documented and programs are written with comments. 4. Experience with RICEF/W objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows 6. Knowledge and experience in applying OSS notes REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems or related field * 3 years of experience in the area of ABAP Development * Conversant with ABAP data dictionary * Sound programming principles and be able to write “tight” codes. * Possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills * Able to communicate well in English * Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines * Able to work extended hours when necessary * Possess personal attributes such as maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative * Challenges change requests for ABAP to ensure they are practical and in line with std SAP where possible * Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude * MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) skills Key Skills: SAP ABAP, RFC Salary: Not disclosed
