Job Title: Senior Robotics Engineer Company: Velath Engineering International FZC Job Category: Machine Learning Roles & Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of advanced robotic systems and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in robotics, welding systems with robots, control systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and industrial automation. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative robotic solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement robotic systems for industrial applications in welding, surface preparation and coating. Lead the development of robotic hardware and software architectures. Develop motion planning, navigation, and control algorithms. Develop and optimize autonomous navigation and robotic manipulation systems. Lead prototype development through production deployment. Troubleshoot robotic systems and provide technical support. Mentor junior robotics engineers and provide technical leadership. Qualifications Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience specific to robotics. Strong experience with industrial robots such as ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and open\-source robots. Proficiency in ROS/ROS2\. Proficiency with robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems. Experience using simulation tools such as Gazebo, MATLAB Simulink, or RViz. Experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) or automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
