Purpose of the Role. Responsible for ensuring optimum availability, reliability, and performance of PT-CED and Paint Shop equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices. The role drives equipment uptime, process stability, automation reliability, safety compliance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to support world-class manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities. Paint Shop & PT-CED Equipment Maintenance. Lead maintenance activities for PT-CED and Paint Shop equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. Maintain and troubleshoot critical systems including:. Rectifiers. Anode Cell Systems. UF Modules. Baking Ovens. DG Sets. Forklifts. Paint and Sealant Circulation Systems. Ensure reliability and performance of:. Overhead Power & Free Conveyors. Slow Conveyors. Friction Drive Conveyors. Horizontal & Vertical Lift Systems. Mechanical & Utility Systems. Monitor and maintain utility and process equipment including:. Centrifugal Pumps. Chillers. Hot Water Generators. DM Plants. RO Plants. Provide troubleshooting support for hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and automation systems. Drive utility optimization initiatives for power, water, compressed air, and fuel consumption. Maintenance Excellence. Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Breakdown Maintenance (BM) programs. Improve equipment reliability through MTBF enhancement, MTTR reduction, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Plan and execute shutdown maintenance activities. Support spare parts planning, inventory control, and critical spares management. Automation & Control Systems. Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and industrial communication networks. Support programming, commissioning, modifications, and fault diagnosis of automation systems. Work with:. RSLogix 5 (PLC-5). Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000. FactoryTalk View SE & ME. PowerFlex Drives. Manage industrial communication systems including:. Ethernet/IP. ControlNet. Modbus. RS-232/RS-485 Networks. Remote I/O Systems. Project & Commissioning Support. Support installation, commissioning, automation upgrades, and modernization projects. Participate in FAT, SAT, system integration, testing, and startup activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, wiring diagrams, and system backups. TPM, Continuous Improvement & Compliance. Drive TPM initiatives including:. Autonomous Maintenance.
