Job Title: Senior Consultant SAP DRC Company: adesso India Job Category: SAP SD Roles & Responsibilities: YOUR ROLE * Lead end\-to\-end SAP DRC implementation projects in ERP and S/4HANA environments, from requirements gathering to testing, UAT support and hypercare. * Configure and map e\-documents using the Application Interface Framework (AIF) and the eDocument Framework. * Set up the technical infrastructure with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and SOAMANAGER in close coordination with SAP Basis and the client's IT. * Implement structured e\-invoicing formats such as XRechnung/UBL, ZUGFeRD/CII and Peppol, ensure compliance with EN 16931 and support global formats such as FA(3\) and FatturaPA. * Implement India\-specific statutory requirements, including GST e\-invoicing (IRN and QR code generation via the Invoice Registration Portal), e\-Way Bill and GST return reporting. * Monitor legal developments in e\-invoicing and e\-reporting, in India and internationally, and derive the required adjustments for client systems. * Facilitate workshops, write detailed functional specifications and prepare decision papers. * Perform unit, integration and user acceptance testing and resolve issues in test and production environment * Support effort estimation, scoping discussions and proposal preparation for new projects and rollouts. * Share your expertise in indirect tax technology through internal training, pairing and key\-user trainings. * Collaborate with adesso colleagues and clients in Germany and across Europe, aligning on delivery and ways of working across time zones. * Mentor junior consultants and contribute reusable templates and best practices for DRC rollouts. * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, Business or a comparable qualification (e.g. B.E./B.Tech, MCA, MBA). * 5\+ years of SAP experience in the core finance modules, ideally SAP SD and/or SAP FI, including several end\-to\-end projects with SAP DRC. * Technical understanding of SAP processes and the FI/SD data model, plus experience with interfaces and exchange formats such as XML. * Working knowledge of Indian GST regulations (e\-invoicing, e\-Way Bill, GST returns) and of common global e\-invoicing requirements. * Experience with incoming invoice processing software such as Vendor Invoice Management is a plus. * Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and SOAMANAGER is a plus. * Confident communication in English, both internally and externally; German language skills are a plus. * Flexibility to partly align working hours with European project teams Key Skills: SAP SD, UAT Salary: Not disclosed
