Core Responsibilities: * To source and procure materials in the most cost effective and time efficient manner to meet organisation needs. * Ensure compliance of the company standards on purchasing policies and procedures. * Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet organisation on time delivery requirements. * Maintain database for materials, vendors, prices \& expenditures. * Responsible for driving cost savings without compromising the overall quality, mitigate risk of single source by expanding vendor base, i.e. qualify new vendors; and be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of vendors in terms of delivery and product quality. * Participate in material review and ensure material issues are elevated and resolved in a timely manner * Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and take initiative to enhance material planning process * Work closely with cross\-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and finance etc * To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time Work Location: Singapore Availability: Full time
