Senior ABAP Developer

Job Title: Senior ABAP Developer Company: Saudi Business Machines SAP Module: SAP Ariba Roles & Responsibilities: Senior ABAP Developer Responsibilities * Develop using ABAP procedural and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP). * Develop and maintain RICEF objects: + Reports + Interfaces + Conversions + Enhancements + Forms * Work extensively with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects, including: + Tables + Views + Domains + Data Elements * Use modularization techniques including: + Function Modules + Includes + Classes * Work extensively with internal tables, memory management, and performance optimization. * Design and implement SAP enhancement framework solutions. * Work with: + User Exits + BAdIs + Implicit Enhancements + Explicit Enhancements + Enhancement Spots * Implement modification-free enhancements following SAP best practices. * Develop and support integrations using: + IDocs + BAPIs + RFC + ALE * Develop and integrate SOAP and REST web services. * Work with SAP Integration Suite / CPI. * Develop and support file-based interfaces using the SAP application server and AL11. * Apply ABAP on HANA concepts. * Develop and work with CDS Views and annotations. * Develop AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). * Apply code-pushdown techniques for improved performance. * Develop OData services using SEGW. * Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model). * Expose ABAP data and services for SAP Fiori applications. * Support integration between backend ABAP services and Fiori applications. 7. Tools & Development Lifecycle * Manage SAP transports using Transport Management System (TMS). * Use version control and code management practices. * Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench tools, including: + SE80 + SE38 + SE24 + Other relevant ABAP development tools * Perform unit testing and debugging. * Use Code Inspector and ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) for code quality checks. * Implement proper error handling and application logging. * Follow SAP coding standards and clean-code principles.
