Job Title: SCM Assistant Company: Inovit Fusion Technology Pvt Ltd Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: Job Description : A Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager optimizes the end\-to\-end flow of materials, production, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost reduction, and on\-time delivery. Key duties include inventory management, demand planning, supplier negotiations, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer demand. Responsibilities * Production \& Inventory Control: Coordinate raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels to support manufacturing schedules while adhering to FIFO/FEFO norms. * Procurement \& Vendor Development: Source materials, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and manage vendor relationships. * Logistics \& Distribution: Manage in\-bound material shipments and out\-bound finished goods distribution to depots or clients, including negotiating freight rates. * Strategic Planning \& Optimization: Analyze supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, OTIF) to drive cost optimization and process improvements. * Cross\-Functional Leadership: Work with Production, Quality Control, Sales, and Finance teams to align logistics with business goals. * Compliance \& Risk Management: Ensure compliance with safety standards (GMP/GDP), legal requirements, and develop contingency plans for disruptions. Required Qualifications \& Skills * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Diploma in Mechanical \& B.E Mechanical. * Experience: Generally 1\-2\+ years in manufacturing\-based supply chain management, logistics, or procurement. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (especially Excel). * Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, leadership, negotiation skills, and problem\-solving abilities.
