SAP Workflow and ABAP Developer

Role & responsibilities. Design, configure, and enhance SAP workflows for business process automation, approvals, and notifications. Develop and maintain workflow components including event linkages, BOR objects, classes, task containers, deadline monitoring, substitutions, and escalations. Build workflow user tasks using UI5/Fiori My Inbox, SAP GUI, and Web Dynpro. Create workflow templates, business rules (BRF+), rule resolution logic, and inbox optimization solutions. Develop end-to-end ABAP solutions including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions across procurement, supply chain, and finance processes. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve workflow issues in production environments. Review functional specifications and prepare technical design documents. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards. Debug and optimize ABAP programs to improve performance and system efficiency. Collaborate with BASIS, security, and functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions. Preferred candidate profile. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of overall SAP development experience. Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Workflow, ABAP, BRF+, OOP ABAP, CDS Views, and OData services. Strong experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. Expertise in Workflow Builder, Business Object Builder (BOR), and Universal Worklist (UWL). Experience developing and supporting workflow solutions across multiple SAP modules. Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, Web Dynpro, and My Inbox applications. Experience with SAP BTP services and cloud-based SAP solutions. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to independently drive design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
