SAP S4 ABAP Consultant

Job Requirements:. 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and architecture roles. Strong expertise inCore ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits). Object-Oriented ABAP programming. Deep experience in S4HANA ABAP technologies - CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). Code Pushdown techniques. Experience in Fiori/ UI5 and OData service development. Strong understanding of integration frameworks (IDoc, RFC, APIs, CPI). Experience in performance optimization for SAP HANA systems. Exposure to data migration tools and S4 conversion projects. Familiarity with DevOps processes and transport management. Exposure to SAP BTP RAP CAP is a plus. Strong leadership, design, and stakeholder communication skills. Key Responsibilities. Define and lead end-to-end ABAP solution architecture for S4HANA programs. Design and develop complex ABAP and S4HANA-based solutions. Implement advanced HANA-based developments (CDS, AMDP, code pushdown). Lead design of interfaces and integration solutions (IDoc, APIs, OData). Architect Fiori applications and OData services. Optimize application performance using HANA-specific techniques. Drive technical design standards and coding best practices. Collaborate with functional teams for requirement understanding and solution mapping. Support data migration and system conversion activities. Ensure compliance with security, audit, and development standards. Lead code reviews, performance tuning, and design validations. Mentor development teams and guide technical implementation. Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases. Drive continuous improvement in technical architecture and development practice.
