Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance Functional Consultant – 1 Year Project Based (S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition) Company: ALFAHIM Job Category: SAP FICO Roles & Responsibilities: Provide hands\-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance expertise for ALFAHIM Group's transformation program. The consultant will configure and validate Finance solutions, support end\-to\-end implementation delivery, and act as the company\-side Finance Design Authority representative to assure the quality and suitability of the implementation partner's work. The role will bridge Finance process owners, IT, and the implementation partner, ensuring that decisions balance SAP standard capabilities, company policies, internal controls, and operational needs. The consultant will facilitate and document agreed resolutions and support the project from discovery through go\-live and stabilization. * Design Authority and vendor assurance \- Serve as the company\-side subject matter expert in the Design Authority / Design Community. Review and challenge the implementation partner's proposed processes, configuration, extensions, integrations, estimates, and deliverables; identify incorrect or incomplete work, recommend corrective action, and confirm designs that meet agreed requirements and SAP standards. * Business\-policy alignment and decision facilitation \- When company policy or current practice conflicts with SAP standard functionality, explain the options, risks, controls, cost, and operational impact. Facilitate agreement between business process owners, IT, and the implementation partner on whether to adopt SAP standard, amend the process or policy, or approve a justified extension. Document the decision, owner, and approval; escalate unresolved matters through project governance. * Implementation governance and quality \- Validate requirements traceability, solution design documents, configuration workbooks, functional specifications, role/control design, test evidence, migration results, and readiness gates. Ensure defects and design gaps are owned and closed within agreed timelines. * Stakeholder and partner collaboration \- Act as the day\-to\-day functional bridge among business teams, IT, SAP and the implementation partner. Translate business needs into precise SAP decisions, prevent misunderstandings and support timely resolution of risks, dependencies and scope questions. * Adoption, support and knowledge transfer \- Support key users during testing and go\-live, produce usable process and configuration documentation, coach internal support teams and ensure sustainable handover after stabilization. * Core Financials: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, bank accounting, tax, allocations, period\-end and year\-end close, financial statements and multi\-company processes. * Management Accounting: Cost centers, profit centers, internal orders or relevant public\-cloud scope, planning interfaces, allocations and profitability/management reporting. * Treasury and Banking: Cash and liquidity processes, payment methods and approvals, bank communication/statements, reconciliation and related controls, where included in scope. * Group and Regulatory Reporting: Intercompany processes, consolidation/group reporting interfaces, audit requirements, VAT and e\-invoicing / SAP DRC integration, where included in scope. * Cross\-Module Integration: Finance integration with Procurement, Sales/CRM, HR/Payroll, Property Management, incentives, planning, legacy applications and third\-party platforms. * Data and Controls: Chart of accounts, finance master data, opening balances, transaction migration, reconciliations, approval controls, segregation of duties and audit evidence. Implementation Lifecycle Responsibilities: * Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP Finance experience, including substantial hands\-on configuration and delivery responsibility. * Participation in at least one end\-to\-end SAP S/4HANA implementation; SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience is strongly preferred. * Hands\-on experience in fit\-to\-standard workshops, finance configuration, testing, defect resolution, migration/reconciliation, cutover and hyper care. * Demonstrated ability to review and challenge an implementation partner's design, configuration and deliverables using evidence and SAP best practices. * Strong understanding of financial controls, closing, statutory reporting, audit requirements and integration with upstream/downstream processes. * Experience in multi\-company or multi\-business\-unit environments; UAE VAT and regional finance experience are preferred. * SAP 4 Hana Finance configuration and process expertise * Design assurance and analytical judgement * Financial controls, data and reconciliation * Business process facilitation and conflict resolution * Vendor management and constructive challenge * Clear documentation, presentation and stakeholder communication * Ownership, independence and delivery focus Work Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates Availability: Full time
