SAP PP Functional Consultant

Position - SAP PP Functional Consultant. Experience - 5 to 10 Years. Location - Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Role Overview. We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP Production Planning solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong business process knowledge in manufacturing, production planning, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control, along with experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments.

Key Responsibilities. Gather and analyze business requirements related to Production Planning and Manufacturing processes. Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP PP solutions. Configure and support:. Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Demand Management. Production Orders. Capacity Planning. Master Data Management. Shop Floor Control. Batch Management. Production Versions. Work closely with business stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes. Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements. Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and PM teams for cross-functional integrations. Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities. Provide post-go-live support and resolve production issues. Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation. Support data migration, cutover, and system upgrade activities. Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and process improvement initiatives. Required Skills. SAP PP Functional Expertise. Strong experience in:. Production Planning (PP). MRP and MRP Live. Demand Management. Production Orders. Capacity Planning. BOM (Bill of Materials). Routings. Work Centers. Production Versions. Shop Floor Control. Integration Knowledge. SAP MM (Materials Management). SAP SD (Sales & Distribution). SAP QM (Quality Management). SAP PM (Plant Maintenance). SAP WM/EWM (preferred). Technical Understanding. Functional Specification preparation. Knowledge of IDocs, Interfaces, LSMW, and Data Migration. Understanding of SAP Fiori applications. Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field. SAP PP Certification is preferred. Experience in at least 2-3 full-cycle SAP implementations. Experience in AMS Support and Enhancement projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
