Your role is of key importance, as it lays down the foundation for the entire project. * Settlement Profiles: Configuring the rules that determine which receivers are valid (e.g., Cost Centers, Internal Orders, WBS elements). * Settlement Rules: Generating and maintaining the distribution percentages for cost allocation. * Period-End Closing: Executing the settlement run (KO88) to clear maintenance order balances and transfer costs to Finance (FI). * Materials Management (MM): Issuing spare parts, managing reservations, and creating purchase requisitions for external services. * Financial Accounting / Controlling (FI/CO): Understanding primary and secondary cost elements, cost centers, and internal orders for budgeting. * Project System (PS): Settling complex turnaround or overhaul maintenance costs against WBS elements.
