SAP MM Consultant

Roles ResponsibilitiesA Day in the Life of an Infoscion. Analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM solutions. Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP MM functionalities in line with business needs. Lead and support SAP MM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects. Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and conference room pilots. Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deliver developments and enhancements. Identify process gaps and recommend business process improvements and system optimizations. Develop effort estimates, project documentation, and implementation plans. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. Support client stakeholders during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases. Contribute to organizational initiatives, knowledge management, and continuous improvement activities. Technical Requirement. 9+ years of experience in SAP MM, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support projects. Strong expertise in Purchasing, Pricing, Inventory Management, LIV, Account Determination, and Release Strategies. Hands-on experience in Material Master, Vendor Master, and Organizational Structure configuration. Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience. Ability to lead requirements gathering, solution design, fit-gap analysis, and go-live activities. Expertise in Special Procurement Processes such as Subcontracting, STO, and Consignment. Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD, FI/CO, and SAP/Non-SAP interfaces. Proven experience in large-scale implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support engagements. Ability to drive process improvements, solution optimization, and digital transformation initiatives. Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills. Additional Responsibility. Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability. Good knowledge on software configuration management systems. Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate. Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available. Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions. One or two industry domain knowledge. Client Interfacing skills. Project and Team management.
