Job Title: SAP MM consultant Company: CGI Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities – SAP MM Consultant (Procurement \& Inventory Management Support) * Provide L2/L3 support for SAP MM processes, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problem tickets in line with SLA commitments. * Support end to end procurement processes including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, RFQs, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Goods Receipts, and Invoice Verification. * Manage and support SAP Inventory Management processes including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Transfer Postings, Stock Transfers, Physical Inventory, and Inventory Reconciliation. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to material master data, purchasing documents, source determination, release strategies, valuation, and stock movements. * Perform root cause analysis for recurring business issues and implement sustainable solutions. * Support month end and year end inventory activities, stock reconciliation, and audit compliance requirements. * Collaborate with business users, warehouse teams, procurement teams, and cross functional SAP teams to ensure smooth business operations. * Support integration between SAP MM and related modules such as SD, PP, WM/EWM, FI, and QM. * Assess and implement minor enhancements, configuration changes, and process improvements based on business requirements. * Conduct impact analysis, testing, and validation for system changes, transports, and upgrades. * Monitor critical interfaces and batch jobs impacting procurement and inventory processes. * Maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, SOPs, and support runbooks. * Participate in incident review meetings, service improvement initiatives, and governance reviews. * Provide user training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams when required. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit controls, and procurement governance standards.
