Il s’agit d’un rôle concret, stratégique et très responsabilisant, relevant du directeur principal, Transformation ERP, et collaborant étroitement avec les équipes Finance, les BPO et les experts métiers. Si vous venez d’un cabinet “Big Four” ou d’un partenaire SAP et souhaitez passer du côté client pour enfin influencer directement les décisions et l’architecture d’entreprise, c’est l’occasion idéale. Ce poste suit un mode de travail hybride basé au bureau de Montréal ou à distance Ontario. Ton profil de champion(ne) * 8 à 12 ans d’expérience pratique en configuration SAP FICO et en conception de solutions. * Deux implantations complètes ou plus, incluant S/4HANA Public Cloud (les profils uniquement ECC ne seront pas considérés). * Expérience dans des industries orientées projets (construction, ingénierie, pétrole et gaz, services professionnels) avec une véritable expérience en reconnaissance des revenus POC et collecte des coûts basée sur WBS. * Solide expérience en finance manufacturière — calcul des coûts de revient, contrôle des objets de coûts, règlement des écarts, intégration PP. * Capacité démontrée à agir comme ressource FI/CO principale ou unique, en assumant les décisions de conception et en gérant les enjeux avec le SI. * Expérience client chez un Big Four ou un partenaire SAP. * Baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou systèmes d’information; CPA/CMA est un atout important. * L’anglais est obligatoire ; la maîtrise du français est un avantage dans notre environnement montréalais. We’re hiring our first\-ever SAP Financials leader to build our Finance \& Controlling capability from the ground up as we roll out a multi\-phase SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation. This is an IT/ERP delivery role (not a Finance BPO role): you will own the SAP solution design, configuration governance, integrations, and release execution, while Finance BPOs retain process ownership and business sign\-off. The role is hands\-on, high\-ownership, reporting to the Sr. Director, ERP Transformation and partnering closely with Finance leadership, BPOs, and SME teams. If you come from a Big 4 or SAP partner background and want to move client\-side where your decisions actually shape the enterprise — this is the role. This role follows a hybrid schedule based out of the Montreal Office or remote from Ontario. What you’ll do: * Own the IT delivery of the SAP FI/CO workstream across design, configuration validation, testing, and go\-live. Partner with the Finance BPO (process owner) and hold the SI accountable—challenging decisions that don’t serve the business. * Lead the SAP solution design for Project Accounting \& Revenue Recognition (PS/FI/CO) including WBS structures, POC logic, IFRS 15 alignment, WIP accounting, and end\-to\-end integration—while aligning requirements and sign\-offs with the Finance BPO and SMEs. * Drive SAP FI/CO configuration and solution governance across Universal Journal, New GL, AP/AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA/PCA, Internal Orders, and close processes—ensuring design decisions are documented, controlled, and approved by the Finance BPO. * Enable manufacturing finance \& product costing in SAP including standard cost estimates, variance analysis, actual costing (CKMLCP), and MM/CO integration—translating business requirements from Manufacturing/Finance into fit\-to\-standard system design. * Design and govern SAP finance organizational structures supporting FP\&A and consolidation (profit centers, cost centers, controlling areas, and org data), with Finance BPO ownership of policies and reporting outcomes. * Own FI/CO integrations, security, and extensibility design (IT) — define and validate end\-to\-end integrations (e.g., MM/SD/PS/PP touchpoints, banking interfaces, tax engines) and coordinate SAP security/roles, workflows, and S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility with Basis/Security and the SI. * Lead test/defect triage and release readiness for Finance (IT) — manage functional defect triage, configuration transports/content activation, regression planning, and cutover dependencies; ensure stable month\-end close readiness across sprints and S/4HANA Public Cloud releases. * Oversee finance data migration and cutover readiness (IT) through SIT, UAT, cutover, and first close cycles—coordinating technical validation with the SI and ensuring business reconciliation and acceptance with the Finance BPO. What you need for success: * 8–12 years of hands\-on SAP Financials configuration and solution design (FI/CO). * Two\+ full\-cycle implementations, including S/4HANA Public Cloud (ECC\-only profiles won’t be considered). * Experience in project\-driven industries (construction, engineering, oil \& gas, professional services) with real POC revenue recognition and WBS\-based cost collection. * Strong manufacturing finance exposure — product costing, cost object controlling, variance settlement, PP integration. * Proven ability to operate as the sole or lead FI/CO resource, owning design decisions and managing SI pushback. * Big 4 or SAP partner client\-facing delivery experience. * Comfort operating in an IT delivery model — translating requirements into configuration, writing functional specs, supporting integration patterns (APIs/IDocs/events), and driving defect resolution with developers and the SI. * Experience with Fiori apps, finance reporting/analytics, and modern S/4 delivery practices (fit\-to\-standard workshops, backlog management, test evidence, and migration validation using SAP tooling and SI accelerators). * Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/IS; CPA/CMA is a strong asset. * English is mandatory, French proficiency is an advantage in our Montreal environment.
