SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities. 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP FI (Financial Accounting). Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and implementation. Experience across core SAP FI areas including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting and Closing activities. Strong understanding of New GL, Document Splitting, Automatic Payment Program (APP), Dunning and Tax configurations. Work on end-to-end SAP implementation activities, including requirement gathering, Business Blueprint/Design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare. Good integration knowledge of SAP FI with CO, MM and SD. Experience in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, data migration and cutover activities. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand finance requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions. Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance projects is preferred. Ability to handle complex business requirements, troubleshoot issues and provide functional solutions. Preferred candidate profile. Minimum 6+ years of relevant SAP FI experience is required. At least one end-to-end SAP FI implementation project is mandatory. Must have strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI. Candidates with only Support/AMS experience and no implementation experience should not be considered. Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting. Good understanding of FI integration with CO, MM and SD. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration or transformation projects is highly preferred.
