SAP FICO Consultant

This SAP FICO Consultant role at Onama Consultants Pvt Ltd spans Mumbai and Pune, covering comprehensive FI and CO configuration and implementation work with a notably strict qualification requirement. You will configure, implement, and support both SAP FI and CO modules, covering GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting on the Finance side, extended into Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA on the Controlling side. Gathering and analyzing business requirements sits at the front end of engagement work, followed by hands-on configuration and integration touchpoints with MM, SD, and PP modules. Supporting financial closing cycles is a recurring responsibility, and coordinating with technical teams is expected whenever configuration limitations require custom development.

Candidates need 3-4 years of SAP FICO experience, but critically, this role explicitly requires a CA, ICWA, or CMA professional qualification as mandatory rather than optional, meaning candidates without one of these specific credentials will not meet Onama Consultants' baseline requirement regardless of SAP experience depth. Broad functional coverage across FI and CO is required, spanning GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CCA, IO, PCA, Product Costing, and CO-PA. Practical MM/SD/PP integration knowledge is essential. Strong requirements-gathering and UAT support experience is expected, along with data migration and end-user training capability.
