SAP FICO Consultant

Onama Consultants is hiring a SAP FICO Consultant across Mumbai and Pune, a role requiring formal accounting credentials, CA, ICWA, or CMA, as a mandatory prerequisite rather than a preference. You will configure, implement, and support both SAP FI and CO modules, covering the full breadth from General Ledger and Accounts Payable/Receivable through Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Product Costing. Gathering and analyzing business requirements directly from stakeholders is central to how implementation work gets scoped here, rather than working purely from fixed specifications. Supporting financial closing cycles is a recurring, time-sensitive responsibility, and you will coordinate closely with technical teams throughout implementation and support work.

Candidates need 3-4 years of SAP FICO experience with a mandatory CA, ICWA, or CMA qualification, making this a strictly credentialed accounting-plus-SAP role. Strong hands-on configuration skills are required across CCA, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and CO-PA. Practical Product Costing knowledge is essential given the breadth of CO functionality this role covers. Integration understanding with MM, SD, and PP is needed for cross-module scenarios. Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting UAT cycles is required. Data migration experience is expected, along with the ability to deliver end-user training as part of implementation rollout.
