Sap Fico Consultant

Role & responsibilities. Lead requirement workshops with finance, controlling and tax stakeholders to define solutions aligned with business objectives. Design and configure FI and CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders and Product Costing. Architect and validate end-to-end integration scenarios between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP, and other modules or third-party systems. Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces and reports; coordinate with ABAP and technical teams during build and transport cycles. Lead data migration strategy and execution for master and transactional data (mapping, cleansing, LSMW/BDC/DTM/IDoc or modern ETL approaches). Drive testing activities: unit, integration, regression and UAT; prepare test plans and ensure quality of deliverables. Oversee golive planning and hypercare support; resolve complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis. Preferred candidate profile. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field. Minimum of nine years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in implementations, rollouts or large-scale support engagements. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations preferred; strong ECC experience acceptable. Deep knowledge of FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banks) and CO modules (CCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA). Strong understanding of business finance processes, month-end close, reconciliations and internal controls. Experience with data migration, integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, APIs) and reporting solutions. Familiarity with Colombian statutory/tax requirements and local reporting processes.
