SAP Data Cutover Manager

Job Title: SAP Data Cutover Manager Company: Ajiledone Technologies Job Category: SAP BASIS Roles & Responsibilities: Job Description: SAP Data Cutover Manager Role Type: Contract Role Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Cutover Manager to lead and manage end\-to\-end cutover planning and execution for SAP transformation programs, particularly SAP S/4HANA implementations. The role will be responsible for developing cutover strategies, managing data migration and reconciliation activities, coordinating cross\-functional teams, and ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems or SAP ECC to the target SAP production environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition implementations, along with proven expertise in mock cutovers, go\-live readiness, command center management, risk mitigation, and post\-go\-live stabilization. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the overall SAP cutover strategy, master cutover plan, timelines, and execution framework. * Define cutover activities, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and ownership across functional and technical teams. * Manage cutover planning for Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition SAP implementations. * Establish governance mechanisms, escalation procedures, and decision\-making frameworks. * Ensure alignment between business stakeholders, project management, and technical teams. 2\. Data Migration \& Load Management * Oversee end\-to\-end data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and data validation. * Coordinate migration of master data, including customers, vendors, G/L accounts, and materials. * Manage transactional data migration, including open orders, outstanding balances, and other business\-critical transactions. * Ensure data accuracy, completeness, reconciliation, and consistency between legacy and target SAP systems. * Work closely with data migration teams to resolve loading issues and data quality challenges. * Monitor migration execution and ensure all data loads are completed within agreed timelines. * Lead and coordinate functional consultants, ABAP developers, SAP Basis, infrastructure, security/GRC, and business teams. * Manage dependencies across SAP modules and integrated third\-party systems. * Ensure all technical and functional cutover activities are executed in the correct sequence. * Drive communication, accountability, and timely resolution of cutover\-related issues. * Coordinate with business process owners to validate operational readiness. * Plan and execute multiple mock cutovers and full dress rehearsals before production go\-live. * Develop detailed cutover runbooks, activity trackers, and sequence sheets. * Validate task durations, dependencies, resource availability, and execution timelines. * Identify bottlenecks, technical issues, and process gaps during rehearsal activities. * Incorporate lessons learned and continuously refine the final production cutover plan. * Ensure readiness criteria are met before final go\-live execution. 5\. Go\-Live Command Center \& Risk Management * Lead the Go\-Live War Room / Command Center during production cutover and deployment. * Monitor real\-time execution of cutover activities and track progress against approved timelines. * Maintain issue logs, risk registers, escalation matrices, and contingency plans. * Coordinate incident resolution and manage critical cutover dependencies. * Develop and maintain rollback and business continuity plans. * Drive formal Go/No\-Go decisions with project leadership and business stakeholders. * Provide regular status updates to senior management and steering committees. * Oversee post\-go\-live stabilization and hypercare activities. * Monitor critical business processes, system performance, and data integrity. * Coordinate resolution of production issues with functional and technical teams. * Ensure smooth transition of support responsibilities to Application Management Services (AMS). * Prepare cutover closure reports, lessons learned, and post\-implementation documentation. * Strong experience in SAP implementation, migration, and transformation programs. * Proven expertise in SAP cutover planning, management, and execution. * Hands\-on experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations. * Experience working on Greenfield, Brownfield, and/or Selective Data Transition projects. * Strong understanding of SAP data migration, ETL processes, data validation, and reconciliation. * Experience managing master data and transactional data migration. * Expertise in mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, go\-live planning, and execution. * Strong understanding of SAP functional and technical dependencies across modules. * Experience coordinating SAP Functional, ABAP, Basis, Infrastructure, Security, and GRC teams. * Experience managing Go\-Live Command Centers, risk mitigation, and contingency planning. * Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. * Experience leading cutover activities for large\-scale, global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. * Exposure to SAP data migration tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, LSMW, or third\-party ETL tools. * Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and implementation lifecycle. * Experience with SAP project governance, RAID management, and release management. * PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned SAP Cutover Manager with the ability to independently lead complex cutover activities across large\-scale SAP transformation programs. They should possess strong project governance, technical coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities, ensuring successful data migration, production deployment, business readiness, and seamless post\-go\-live stabilization.
