Job Description
This SAP BASIS L2 Consultant role at Diverse Lynx involves managing SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. You will perform Installation/Upgradation/Migration of SQL Servers, apply patches or service packs, and configure High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions. Daily responsibilities include configuring automated alerts, working on incidents and change tickets, setting up Maintenance plans for Backups, Database integrity check, and troubleshooting locking issues including deadlocks and blocking. You will join bridge calls to troubleshoot P1 and P2 incidents, work closely with application developers, handle database object deployment, and provide day-to-day support of high OLTP HA of SQL Server databases.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 4-9 years of experience with strong SQL Server database administration skills. Experience in performance tuning, database maintenance, and troubleshooting is required. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Prior experience working in global delivery models, along with exposure to Agile methodologies, will be considered an added advantage. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
