SAP Basis Consultant

This SAP BASIS Consultant role at VC ERP Consulting involves managing and supporting SAP systems, ensuring smooth system operations, monitoring performance, and handling day-to-day BASIS activities. You will perform SAP system monitoring and administration, user and authorization management, transport management across SAP environments, system troubleshooting and performance monitoring, and support in SAP upgrades, patches, and installations. Daily responsibilities include backup and system maintenance activities. The role requires hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration with knowledge of SAP HANA and database concepts, understanding of transport management and system monitoring, and basic Linux/Windows server knowledge. This position also involves supporting knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to internal best-practice documentation, and helping to build a culture of continuous learning within the team.

The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration with knowledge of SAP HANA and transport management. Basic Linux/Windows server knowledge is required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
