SAP BASIS Consultant

This SAP BASIS Consultant role at Techstar Group involves managing SAP system administration and providing production support for business-critical SAP environments. You will perform SAP BASIS administration for SAP S/4HANA environments, monitor SAP systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, and provide production support with incident analysis and issue resolution. Daily responsibilities include managing SAP transports across Development, QA, and Production environments, performing client administration including client copy and refreshes, executing SAP kernel upgrades and support package implementation, and performing system health checks. You will support SAP Solution Manager monitoring, assist with SAP HANA database monitoring and basic administration, and monitor SAP PO, BOBJ, and BODS environments. The role requires coordination with functional, development, infrastructure, and database teams.

The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS Administration with experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments. Exposure to SAP PO, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), and SAP BODS is required. Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, transport management, client administration, kernel upgrades, and Solution Manager is essential. Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and experience in SLA-driven production support environments is required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
