SAP BASIS Consultant

This SAP BASIS Consultant role at Samishti Infotech involves applying knowledge of technologies, methodologies, and tools to support clients. You will be responsible for SAP system administration, Server Monitoring, and optimizing techniques, and managing SAP correction and transport systems. Daily responsibilities include experience in SME for SAP ECC, BW (HANA) or JAVA (Enterprise Portal), SAP SOLMAN 7.2 Installation/Upgrade (CHARM/BPMON), experience in Upgrades & Migration, and backup/Restore/Recovery of SAP/Oracle installations. You will design, develop, and configure software systems to meet client requirements, and lead a team of experts to deliver client projects. This position also involves supporting knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to internal best-practice documentation, and helping to build a culture of continuous learning within the team.

The ideal candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in SAP BASIS with knowledge of Unix operating system, SAP system administration, and server monitoring. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
