SAP Module: SAP BASIS Roles & Responsibilities: Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant tomanage, support and maintain SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes acrossDevelopment, Quality Assurance and Production environments. The consultant will be responsible for SAP Basisadministration, system upgrades, migrations, HANA/database administration,performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security configuration and technicalproject activities. The role will also involve close coordination with SAP,infrastructure, network, security and database teams. Roles & Responsibilities * Administer and support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments across Development, QA and Production systems. * Perform SAP EHP upgrades, S/4HANA upgrades/conversions, Support Pack upgrades and SAP Kernel upgrades using SUM, SWPM and related tools. * Perform SAP system installation, system copy, migration and post-migration activities. * Administer and monitor SAP HANA, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) databases. * Perform SAP HANA database monitoring, backup/recovery, performance tuning and troubleshooting. * Manage SAP application servers, profiles, RFCs, transports, background jobs, users, system parameters and system health monitoring. * Perform SAP performance monitoring and troubleshooting of ABAP dumps, system logs, locks, jobs, RFC and connectivity issues. * Provide SAP Basis administration on Linux/RHEL and Windows Server platforms. * Manage SSL/TLS certificates and secure communications including STRUST and SSO * Support SAP high availability, disaster recovery and cloud/RISE environments. * Coordinate with SAP, infrastructure, network, security and database teams for technical issues and project activities. * Participate in production support, incident management, change management and planned maintenance activities. * Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans and support procedures. * SAP * SAP ECC 6.0 * SAP S/4HANA * SAP Basis Administration * SAP NetWeaver * SAP HANA * SAP Kernel * SAP Solution Manager / SAP monitoring tools * SAP Host Agent * SUM – Software Update Manager * SWPM – Software Provisioning Manager * SAPCAR * SPAM/SAINT * STMS * RZ10/RZ11 * SM21 * ST22 * SM37 * SM50/SM66 * SM12 * SM59 * ST03/ST03N * DBACOCKPIT * STRUST * ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects * SAP S/4HANA upgrades * SAP HANA migration * SAP system installation and migration * SUM-based upgrades * SAP system copy and refresh * SAP cloud migration * RISE with SAP * SAP HA/DR * SAP HANA System Replication * SAP security and SSL certificate management * SSO/SNC * Large-scale SAP production environments * SAP technical cutover and Go-Live activities * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Ability to independently manage SAP Basis activities. * Good understanding of SAP technical architecture. * Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. * Ability to work across SAP, infrastructure, security and database teams. * Strong documentation and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure during upgrades, migrations and production incidents. * Willingness to participate in planned maintenance and occasional after-hours activities.
