SAP ABAP Technical Consultant (Infosys Mid-level)

This mid-level SAP ABAP Technical Consultant role at Infosys involves designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW). You will develop and enhance Reports (ALV), Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts to meet business requirements. The role requires working on User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and Implicit Enhancements to customize and extend SAP functionality. You will develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services for seamless system integration. Performance tuning using tools like SQL Trace (ST05) and Runtime Analysis (SE30) is a key responsibility. Debugging and resolving technical issues across SAP modules including FI, MM, and SD is required. Collaboration with functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions is essential.

The ideal candidate must have 5-9 years of experience with a Bachelor of Engineering, BTech, BCA, BSc, MTech, MSc, or MCA degree. Primary skills include SAP Technical-SAP ABAP with experience in RICEFW development. Required technical expertise includes ALV Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and IDocs. Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, and performance tuning tools is essential. Additional skills in S/4HANA implementation, Fiori/UI5 integration, workflow, forms integration, and Agile methodologies are preferred. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across SAP modules are required.
