SAP ABAP TECHNICAL CONSULTANT (Infosys)

This senior technical consultant role at Infosys involves designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive SAP ABAP solutions including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF objects). You will work extensively on S/4HANA ABAP development, including CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services. Your responsibilities include developing and optimizing performance-intensive programs using modern ABAP techniques and handling enhancements through User Exits, BADIs, and the Enhancement Framework. You will design and develop interfaces using IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, Web Services, and APIs while collaborating with the SAP Fiori/UI5 team to support backend OData services. Analyzing functional specifications and converting them into technical designs is a critical part of the role. You will perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate must have 9-13 years of experience with a Bachelor of Engineering, BTech, BSc, BCA, MTech, MCA, or MSc degree. Core ABAP expertise with strong RICEFW development skills is required, including ALV Reports (OO ALV, SALV), Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, Data Dictionary, and Module Pool Programming. S/4HANA skills including CDS Views, AMDP, and code push-down techniques are essential. Experience with IDocs, RFC, BAPI, OData Services, REST/SOAP APIs, BADIs, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework is required. Preferred skills include SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP/RAP, ABAP on HANA, and DevOps/CI-CD exposure.
